Brew Updates
Finally bottled the APA and bitter today. I’m really looking forward to the bitter. The APA is essentially the same recipe I always make. The bitter is the same as last time except that I have used Baird’s Marris Otter in this one and I used Trad Ales last time. I really enjoyed my last bitter but am told Marris Otter is the goods so I look forward to it.
I am brewing again next Sunday. I am doing a large IPA with American hops. I have a bunch of American hops I want to use up so thought I would get rid of a bunch of them in one go. It is very close to the recipe I posted recently. Only difference is that I have replaced the Simcoe bittering addition with Magnum to give it a nice clean bitterness.
I am looking forward to having a few beers on. I am down to just a few bottles of porter which isn’t really a summer beer and some Biere De Garde which is far from being a session beer.
